Our team has secured more than $21,937,680 in grant funding, published 500+ scientific articles on the food environment, and testified on 4 policies in New York that focus on sugary drink warning labels, the nutritional quality of children’s meals at fast food restaurants, and sodium warning labels. We have also mentored more than 300 students who are future food environment researchers, scholars, and practitioners.

Last Spring, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver invited Dr. Marie Bragg to speak to their Bite Back team and the Department of Health and Social Care in London about her research involving unhealthy marketing trends on social media. The audience was composed of international policymakers and public health leaders. Jamie Oliver is an English celebrity chef, restaurateur and cookbook author who has amassed a social media following of over 10 million.
